The volunteer hub: applications from your own form, the roster, capacity per week, the handbook, and how volunteers see their shifts.

The hub

Admin›Volunteers. The roster lists current and upcoming volunteers with arrival, departure, room, skills and weekly hours; capacity shows how many volunteers each week can take; the handbook is the text every volunteer reads on their first day; applications come in from your own form.

The application form

Every property has a public form at travel404.com/apply/your-property. Build it in the hub: the questions, which are required, the text on top. Applications land in the roster as "applied"; accept, decline or ask a question from there. Accepting creates the person's account and stay dates; they get an email with the handbook and the app link.

Volunteers and shifts

Volunteers are users with the Volunteer role: they see the schedule, their own shifts, the handbook card on the Current Shift screen and the house tasks; they do not see finance or other people's data. Their stay shows in the calendar as a volunteer stay (no charge) and counts for the community app like any other guest. See Schedule & shifts.

Good practice

  • Set capacity per week before publishing the form, so the roster warns you when a week is overbooked.
  • Keep the handbook short and concrete: where things are, what a shift includes, the house rules.
  • Give volunteers the app: the house room in Messages is where the day-to-day happens.
